Our Veterinarians

Dr. Brian Loudis

Dr. Brian Loudis, DVM, Medical Director (and Molly)

Veterinarian

Dr. Loudis is a Colorado native with a passion for dog and cat care, focusing on general and preventative health, as well as dentistry and oral surgery. He enjoys Bend time on the slopes and trails with his wife, Pam, and son Vincent, as well as quality time with his dog Molly, Mavis the cat, and Fossil the Turtle.

Dr. Callie Meeder, DVM (and Juniper)

Veterinarian

Dr. Callie Meeder earned her degree from the UC Davis School in 2014 and has been dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care ever since. Her professional interests include wellness and preventive medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, and internal medicine, with a special passion for dentistry. Dr. Meeder values caring for pets throughout every stage of life—from their very first puppy or kitten visit through their senior years. She believes that building lasting relationships based on trust and communication is essential to supporting both pets and the families who love them. Outside the clinic, Dr. Meeder enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and horseback riding. She grew up competing on the AA Hunter Jumper circuit in California and worked with several prominent horse trainers before pursuing her career in veterinary medicine. At home, she and her husband stay busy raising their three sons alongside a lively crew of animals: Juniper, a Golden Retriever; Daphne, a Boston Terrier; D’Artagnan and Blueberry, her two cats; and Thistle and Mikey, her Welsh ponies.

Dr. Ralph Pettus

Dr. Ralph Pettus, DVM (with Juniper and Daphne)

Veterinarian

Dr. Ralph Pettus earned his veterinary degree from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. He began his career in emergency medicine, where he gained extensive experience treating urgent and complex cases. That fast-paced background continues to shape his thoughtful, thorough approach in general practice today. Dr. Pettus enjoys building strong relationships with clients and partnering with families to keep their pets healthy at every stage of life. He is passionate about practical, compassionate care and making sure both pets and their people feel comfortable and heard. Outside the clinic, Dr. Pettus stays busy with his three young boys and a full house that includes two dogs, two cats, and two ponies—so life is rarely quiet, but always fun.

Amie

Amie, CVPM, MPS (and Gypsy Jane)

Hospital Manager

Amie has been a part of the veterinary world since 2008 and brings a unique mix of leadership, compassion, and team spirit to her role as Hospital Manager. She is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager and holds a Master of Professional Studies in Healthcare Administration, combining strong organizational skills with a deep love for animal care. Amie took a break from veterinary medicine to serve in the Peace Corps in Uganda, where she returned home with two memorable souvenirs: her cats, Princess Polka Pants and Pablo. Outside of the clinic, you’ll likely find her skiing, tending her garden, crafting handmade soaps, or out in the snow with her dogs, Gypsy Jane and Bubbles.

Siobean

Siobean, Certified Veterinary Technician (and Hermes)

Siobean has been in the veterinary field for a decade. She’s a graduate of Central Oregon’s CVT program. She loves meeting all sorts of critters, but cats are her favorite. When not at work, she loves going to the coast, reading, and snuggling her own kitties.

Kendra

Kendra, Veterinary Assistant (and Onny)

Animals have always been a huge part of Kendra’s life. She’s spent five years managing daycare and boarding facilities, where she loved building relationships with pets and their owners. Her love for helping animals led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She’s passionate about helping animals live happy, healthy lives and feels grateful to care for them every day. At home, she enjoys spending time with her family and her own pets, Patrick the dog and Onny the cat.

Marissa

Marissa, Veterinary Assistant (and Chips)

Marissa has been working in the veterinary field for the past eight years, where she has developed a strong passion for animal care and client education. Throughout her career, she has gained experience in supporting veterinarians, assisting with procedures, and providing compassionate care to pets and their families. She values teamwork, continuous learning, and building trusting relationships with clients. Marissa is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of the animals she works with every day.

Hannah

Hannah, Veterinary Assistant (and Porter)

Hannah started working in the veterinary field about six years ago and her passion for caring for animals has only grown since. She moved to the Central Oregon area from Portland in 2019 in search of a little more sunshine. Outside of work, she enjoys adventuring with her husband and their fur babies. She looks forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

Kennel Technicians

Anya

Anya, Kennel Technician (and Blue)

Anya has always been passionate about animals. She’s worked as a dog walker/pet sitter, groomer’s assistant, at doggy day cares, and now as a veterinary kennel tech. When she’s not focused on pet care, she patrols the backcountry as a wilderness ranger with her own pup, Blue.

Nicole

Nicole, CSR (and Wilson)

Nicole is a proud Oregon native who grew up in Sisters and discovered her passion for animal well-being at an early age. That calling naturally led her into the field of veterinary medicine, where she is has become dedicated to supporting the health and happiness of animals. Outside of the hospital, Nicole enjoys embracing the beauty of Central Oregon. She spends her time hiking scenic trails, skiing, horseback riding, and rock hounding. At home in Tumalo, she shares a 10-acre ranch with her three Husky-Malamutes and one cat. On weekends, you’ll often find her exercising with her dogs, visiting local hot springs, or exploring all that Bend has to offer.
