Oregon veterinarians are required to get 32 hours of continuing education every two years. I have taken several dermatology courses through the years. They usually give updates, along with interesting photos, about emerging diseases. This is a case of Idiopathic feline facial dermatosis. The image got stuck somewhere in my brain.
Last week I say a new patient with this appearance. That neuron woke up and the light went on. My brain said, “I know what this is!”
Continuing education helps us stay current on new diseases and treatments.
